Kitsap Bank is pleased to announce that the newly remodeled Port Townsend Branch will open on Monday, February 26.

"We are proud that this project brought together great local talent in the design and construction of the building,"stated Steve Politakis, Chief Executive Officer. "Several local companies, including, Rice Fergus Miller Architecture and Tim Ryan Construction were engaged in the design and construction of this new facility, which utilizes green building practices." Incorporated in the construction are a number of energy-efficient, sustainable solutions. The branch features clean, modern architecture; energy efficient LED lighting, state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems and high energy efficient windows. Solar power is also utilized for a portion of the building's energy requirements, and the exterior siding material is a sustainable 100% post-consumer recycled product. Additionally, usable furnishings and fixtures from the former branch are being donated to Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the many sustainable features, customers will also notice new technology upgrades. The branch will be the first to launch the new state-of-the-art Interactive Teller Machines in both walk-up and drive-thru settings. These units will not only accommodate the customary ATM transactions; but with the touch of an onscreen button, will enable customers to immediately be connected to a Customer Service Specialist. Customers will have nearly all of the services that are provided by going into the branch: account inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers; as well as the ability to cash a check or make a withdrawal, receive images of the items deposited on the transaction receipts, and much more. Cash recyclers will also be utilized in the newly remodeled branch.
