  • Kitsap Bank's WWU Scholarship Winners

    In 2016, Kitsap Bank donated $25,000 to establish two renewable $2500 scholarships for students attending Western Washington University’s WWU Center at Olympic College Poulsbo. We are happy to announce our 2017/2018 Kitsap Bank Merit Scholarship recipients:   Joseph Stenstrom  Joe Stenstrom is graduating from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in March of 2018. After graduation, Joe plans to start his career locally in Human Resource Management in hopes that someday he will work for Disney or Universal Studios.   A longtime resident of Poulsbo, WA, Joe is actively involved in several organizations. He is a member of the Poulsbo Noon Lions Club, Poulsbo Historical Society, National Society for Human Resource Management, and National Society of Leadership and Success.   • Kitsap Bank Announces Opening of the Newly Remodeled Port Townsend Branch

    Kitsap Bank is pleased to announce that the newly remodeled Port Townsend Branch will open on Monday, February 26.   • Kitsap Bank Announces Surprise Donations

    Kitsap Bank made a surprise announcement this Valentine's Day, donating $15,000 to local non-profit organizations as part of the bank's MAD (Making a Difference) For Our Community Program. For every hour that Kitsap Bank employees volunteered in 2017, the bank donated money to a non-profit of their choice. In total, employees volunteered over 4,100 hours. The selected non-profits received notification of the surprise donations on February 14th.     Kitsap Bank recently presented a $24,035.62 donation to Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County as part of the bank's commitment to creating more affordable housing in our community. The total represents proceeds from a month- long fundraising campaign, as well as corporate contributions from the bank's Community Connections Program.     Kitsap Bank is pleased to announce that Home Made Cafe of Port Orchard has been awarded the $20,000 cash prize in the fourth annual edg3 FUND small business competition. Edg3 FUND (rhymes with hedge fund) was created to recognize small businesses that are not only working hard to make a profit, but are also having a positive impact on the community. This year, Kitsap Bank received numerous applications from entrepreneurs throughout Western Washington in industries ranging from food/beverages and building, socially-responsible retail, technology, and agriculture.  After much deliberation, the pool of sixteen semi-finalists was selected, and then a public vote helped to select the five finalists.
